The Presidency has admitted that though President Muhammadu Buhari is sick, but his health status is not as terrible as speculated.
Speaking on Wednesday morning while featuring on the Daily Sunrise programme of Channels Television, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said “The current health status of the president is that it is not as terrible as people make it to seem. In his own communication, he (the president) says no cause for worry.”
President Buhari is currently on an extended vacation in the London to complete and receive the results of series of tests recommended by his doctors.
Asks when the President would return to Nigeria, Adesina said, “He communicated the National Assembly and that letter of communication is in the public domain. He said I will be away till my doctors rule out certain things.”
The President’s spokesman while further asked when the President would be back in the country said: “Well, we do not know when he will be back, but when he is coming, he will communicate.”
