Weezy was hospitalized last week after suffering a severe seizure, forcing him to cancel a Las Vegas performance.
Lil Wayne was hospitalized again last week after suffering a severe seizure, forcing him to cancel a performance for a pre-UFC party at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas. It was just a month after his plane made emergency landing in Nebraska and Omaha following seizure. Weezy’s close friends including Nicki Minaj and 2 Chainz “fear the worst” as the rapper is acting like he has a “death wish.”
A source close to Weezy tells HollywoodLife.com, “Lil Wayne’s got issues, bro. It’s like he has a death wish by the way he’s taking care of himself. Every night is a party. Nicki and 2 Chainz have been talking to him behind the scenes, trying to get him to slow down but they’re not getting through to him. At this point, those close to him expect the worst.”
“Nicki has told him in the past that his ass needs to stop risking his life,” says another source, noting that the “Anaconda” rapper has planned to “grill him like never before once he’s 100-percent in perfect health.”
Weezy was released from hospital after a brief stay in the ICU and he’s now resting in Miami. The 33-year-old rapper reportedly blaming the incident on a prescription medication mix-up. Weezy hasn’t commented on his latest health scare yet. On Monday, July 11, the “Mirror” rapper posted on Instagram a promotional video for his upcoming shows at Nos Events Center in San Bernardino, California. As the clip was full of marijuana, Weezy’s fans showed concerns for his health.
One fan commented, “CHILL ON DEM ACTIVITIES BRUH WE CANT LOSE THE ONLY GOAT WE GOT LEFT.” A second fan wrote, “Lil wayne stop with da lean. Id hate to see you die.” Another one shared, “N*a if you die off this st umma follow your a** and slap that s**t out you…so please stop.”
