Between his drug overdose and his breakup with Khloe Kardashian, he’s had quite a difficult last year. Lamar Odom still mend fences between Khloe and Rob.
It mean former NBA star Lamar Odom, 36, still help his ex Khloe mend her relationship with brother Rob Kardashian in the latest sneak preview for July 10th’s episode of KUWTK.
Following Rob’s engagement and baby announcements, the formerly-reclusive reality star began distancing himself from the rest of the Kardashian clan, something that especially troubled sister Khloe. Khloe felt her 29-year-old brother had turned his back on her, after she left him live with her and supported him through some dark times in past years.
‘Rob has disconnected himself from us, apparently mainly me,’ she told Lamar on the sneak peek of Sunday’s episode.
‘He doesn’t talk to me. I hear he talks to my sisters way more.’
‘I just hope he’s focused. Marriage ain’t easy,’ interjected Lamar a remark that doesn’t go down well with Khloe.
But the former Lakers star then suggests he and Khloe try calling Rob together.
‘I mean, he probably won’t answer my phone call,’ laments Khloe.
But Rob does pick up, which is a happy surprise for Khloe.
‘I am really surprised that Rob answered the call because even though Lamar is calling him, it’s from my phone, it does make me smile ’cause at least I know he’s finally going to answer one of my phone calls,’ she said.
Khloe goes on to explain that the Lamar-Rob dynamic has always been a healthy one.
‘I have always loved Lamar and Rob’s relationship and bond, and I want them to hang out,’ she said. ‘But you know, I still want my time with Rob. He hasn’t had any one-on-one time with me. Rob hasn’t attempted to do anything with me.’
Khloe’s comments may come as a surprise to most, as the 32-year-old television personality previously said she wouldn’t be going to his wedding to Blac, after finding out about the engagement on social media.
She fumed: ‘Why was he able to propose in front of her whole family but not us? I feel like Rob is deliberately excluding us from so many things and he almost likes this wedge being put between us all. ‘I’m not going to his wedding if he has a wedding.’
