You can now think of biting the fingers that feed you! the same social media that help you got elected is what you want to gag now! I remember how paid twitter activists came after Goodluck Jonathan and his government in order for this jokers to be elected.
People believed Buhari and his Government will improve the lives of Nigerians by adopting and implementing meaningful Bills that will better the lives of the citizens of Nigeria. However, I personally always believe nothing good will come of this recycle government. LOl! This The “idiotic bill,” is the handy work of Senator Ibn Na’Allah (Kebbi) of Buhari’s All Progressives Congress but enjoys the support of a vocal group of the Senate’s membership. The draft is so sensitive it has now attracted worldwide outrage.
When are we going to have at least a decent, educative and morally elected officers? I ask When? Nigerians are dying every second from hunger and deprivation, Educational system is halt to nil, No Social Welfare. No Social Amenities, as if that is not enough they are basically trying to silence their critics with this oppressive bill.
What a bundle of misplaced priority coming from this laughable irresponsible set of figures that call themselves SENATORS. If this opportunistic and ill- considered set of morans thinks they can choke the social media, they got it coming. What they are trying to do is to bully the social media to submission. take this from me this will constitute danger to the freedoms and lives of Nigerians including those beyond Nigeria’s borders whose views they find offensive. President Buhari and the jokers called SENATORS…. remember you promised Nigerians better lives and you’ve not surpass 150 days in office, you are yet to live up to your promises.
“Don’t forget that the motivation for making a promise are different from the motivation for keeping it, making promises could be to do with an expression of love or trying to secure a position; but keeping promise is to do with your personality and regulatory skills.”
Genuinely, we all know all your public promises were to secure your election. You are less inclined to make one and will be less inclined to keep promise, that means Nigerian politicians are bundle of contradiction.
Imagine what part of the Social Media Bills says: “Where any person through Text Messages, Tweets, WhatsApp or through any Social Media post any abusive statement knowing same to be false with intent to set the public against any person and group of persons, an institution of government or such other bodies established by law shall be guilty of an offence and upon conviction, shall be liable to an imprisonment for two years or a fine of N2,000,000.00 or both fine and imprisonment.”……Lol!
The internet world is too robust and can’t be bullied.
