Harvard University will be presenting an Humanitarian award to Rihanna on February 28 on campus.

The-29 year old singer from Barbados, who is best known as a R&B superstar charitably built a state-of-the-art center for oncology and nuclear medicine which helps to diagnose and treat breast cancer at Queens Elizabeth Hospital in Bridgetown, Barbados.

She also set up a scholarship scheme for Caribbean students in the United States while giving Education to the female child in developing countries.

It is for these reasons that Rihanna would be receiving the award.
