A fast-food worker in Mississippi risks 5-year jail term after telling the Columbus Police Department that she smeared her menstrual blood on a customer’s sandwich.

18-year-old Sky Juliett Samuel according to a local report, was spotted by a co-worker at a Jack’s Family Restaurant on January 7, 2017 smearing the blood and saliva on a sandwich and serve it to a customer.

She could be charged with the crime of “knowingly sell(ing) unwholesome bread or drink.” Investigation, the fast-food chain said is ongoing internally. Samuel is no longer employed by the restaurant, and if convicted, she faces up to five years in prison on a felony charge.
