A deputy editor at Maxim magazine tweeted a photo to his 24,000 followers last night asking how a dogs would wear pants with an image showing two options.
It has sparked a frenzied debate, with people on Twitter posting not only which style they prefer, but also sharing photos of dogs wearing pants to support their decision. Jared Keller published an article in MAXIM earlier today that gave readers a little back story about how this picture came about.
He tells readers he was not the mastermind behind the image, but saw it posted in his Facebook News Feed last night by an old high school friend. The first option in the image argues that pants are meant to cover our legs, so the pooch has both legs in the same pair of pants.
But for those who believe dogs have two arms and two legs the following option will be more to your liking. The second image leans towards the notion that pants are meant to cover your backside and shows the other dog with just its hind legs in the trousers.
The dog-pants conundrum has done a complete circle through the social networking world. It spread to Tumbler, Reddit and has been recently seen floating around on Facebook again. If the debate is anything to go by, that means dog can wear pant. Some suggesting that pants are meant to cover your backside and shows the other dog with just its hind legs in the trousers. Here are some of the arguments on twitter:
Keller noted within two hours of tweeting the image of the dogs there were more than 11,000 tweets referencing it.
