COZA Church Abuja gave Gifts to Widows, after the sex scandal that nearly wrecked the Church!



COZA Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo said “I will teach you a level of grace that you don’t understand.”

COZA – The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, outreach to widows in Abuja and environs Yesterday the Church gave over 1000 widows various material gifts, support the widows with prayers, spiritual intercession and also offer skills to empower to help them live a better life in this season and beyond . 

Recently, COZA came into limelight when the church’s Senior Pastor Mr. Biodun Fatoyinbo was entangled in an allegation of infidelity with a former member of the church that has snowballed into a huge sexual scandal, many say might destabilise the church. It was a former female congregant and worker of the COZA, Ese Walter, confessed to having had an affair with the church’s Senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo, another former female member has come out with claims of her alleged encounter with the pastor in a hotel in Lagos.







Ms. Walter had sent social media alight after she alleged in a blog post that she had a week-long sexual relationship with the pastor during his London visit. Ms. Walter alleged that Mr. Fatoyinbo had dismissed the guilt she had, by saying: “I will teach you a level of grace that you don’t understand.”
Ms. Walter, who admitted that the relationship was consensual, however said she felt “abused and manipulated” by Mr. Fatoyinbo and the fleeting manner the church’s leadership handled the affair after she raised it with another pastor in the church.

We all hope all the Mr. Fatoyinbo “sit on my laps scandal” is a thing of the past, since he has decided not tell the press his own version of event. During the heat up period, when he approached for his own version of the event, though he promised to speak out but he was consulting to come up with a robust reply according to his tweet message but later came up with another message of “When we asked God, God said be quiet. Thank you!”
