A 15-year-old killer sentenced to at least 13 years for stabbing a teenager boy Fola Orebiyi to death in an ambush near his home in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, London.

Fola Orebiyi, 17, was preparing himself for a fist fight little did he know that his killer had a brutal plan to end his life by using a knife to attack him on his neck and back near the Notting Hill street market. He was pronounced dead an hour later.  Fola’s killer, because of his age, his name cannot be mentioned, stabbed him twice on the evening of July 3 last year over a meaningless row. The teenage killer ran away, leaving fola collapsed and bleed to death in the street, before he got rid of the knife and clothes he was wearing on the night of the attack.

On Friday, he was sentenced to a minimum of 13 years at the Old Bailey after he was found guilty of murder. The public gallery was packed full for the hearing and the victim’s family and well-wishers sat in silence as the details of Fola’s final moments were narrated by the prosecutor.

The teenage killer lowered his head in his arm, wept and wiped his eyes on his sleeve.
